GENERAL INFORMATION

This Privacy Policy describes how MB Marnet, legal-entity code 306339430, registered at Europos pr. 34-47, Kaunas, email info@mideer.lt (the Controller), processes the personal data of visitors to www.mideer.lt and other data subjects and how their rights may be exercised.

The Controller may review and amend this Policy at any time. Please check it periodically; the date of the current version is shown at the top of the page. Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable law and protected by appropriate technical and organisational measures. Data supplied by you or collected with your consent is used only for the purposes stated here and is disclosed only when necessary to provide services, fulfil orders or in the other cases described below. Links may lead to third-party websites whose privacy practices are outside the Controller's responsibility.

WEBSITE VISITOR DATA AND COOKIES

Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser on a computer, phone or tablet. We use them to operate the website correctly, maintain speed and security, measure visits and traffic (including date and time, browser, device and screen size) and improve the website.

Cookies may include: session cookie www_mideer_lt, lasting until the end of the visit; _gat (request limiting, 1 minute); _ga (unique visitor, 2 years); _gid (unique visitor, 1 day); Cookie_accepted (consent, 1 year); customer (account details used to pre-fill checkout fields, 1 year); and cart_id (shopping cart, 1 month).

Third-party cookies may be set by Google domains (including DV, 1P_JAR, AID, APISID, CONSENT, HSID, NID, OGPC, SAPISID, SID, SIDCC, SSID, DSID and IDE) for security, session information and marketing, with lifetimes ranging from 10 minutes to 20 years, and by Facebook (datr, fr, sb and wd) for user identification and information collection, lasting from 2 weeks to 2 years. You can restrict or block cookies through each browser on each device, including requiring notification before storage or rejecting all cookies. Doing so may prevent requested services or website features from working. More information is available at http://www.allaboutcookies.org.

Communication tools

You can contact the Controller by email or through Facebook and Instagram. To answer enquiries and retain evidence of communication, on the basis of the Controller's legitimate interest in effective customer service and dispute prevention, we process the sender's email address, date, time and correspondence, or the social-network username and correspondence. Data is kept as long as necessary to complete the task and protect the Controller's rights. Social-network messages may also be disclosed to the platform operator and its partners; consult the relevant Facebook or Instagram privacy policy.

PURCHASES FROM THE ONLINE STORE

Registered users and guests may purchase under the online-store terms. For guest purchases, the personal data entered at checkout is used to perform the contract. Accurate data is required; the Controller is not liable for disclosure, non-delivery or loss caused by incorrect data. Order data is shared with delivery companies, payment banks and processors engaged by the Controller. Order details, including name, delivery method and address, are retained for 2 years after delivery; VAT invoices and the personal data they contain are retained for 10 years.

Creating an account requires only an email address. The Controller also records order number, order and fulfilment dates, products, price, payment method/date and delivery method/date. Purchase history is visible for 2 years from registration. Account data may be shared with delivery companies, payment banks and processors. You may request deletion by writing to info@mideer.lt; deletion will take place within 7 working days after acknowledgement. The account and its data are retained for 3 years after the last purchase. If no purchase is made for 3 years, the account and data are deleted after at least 5 days' advance notice.

HANDLING CLAIMS

Claims concerning services or goods are handled using a completed request/claim form. The data is used only to resolve the claim and may be sent to the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority when necessary. Claim data is retained for 1 year after the claim is resolved and the response is issued.

DIRECT MARKETING

Visitors may subscribe to offers and news. You may unsubscribe through the link in each newsletter or by writing to info@mideer.lt. Unless consent is withdrawn, the email address is retained for direct marketing for 3 years from subscription. The source also provides that business customers may receive offers for new phones without separate consent unless they objected when contracting; they may opt out by replying or emailing info@mideer.lt. Marketing data may be shared with the Controller's processors.

JOB APPLICANT DATA

Applicant data is processed for recruitment and employment on the basis of the legitimate interest in assessing suitability. The Controller may also review publicly available information, including LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter profiles, and contact former employers named in the CV about qualifications and professional qualities. Data for a specific vacancy is retained for 4 months after recruitment ends and longer only with separate consent; otherwise all submitted and collected candidate data is destroyed.

EXERCISING YOUR RIGHTS

Data subjects have the right to access their data, correct inaccurate data, request restriction while accuracy or competing interests are checked or where processing is unlawful but deletion is opposed, request data portability, object to processing, request erasure where applicable, withdraw consent and lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. Registered customers can view and amend account and purchase data in their account. Other requests must be submitted in writing to the registered office or to info@mideer.lt with an electronic signature. A justified restriction request is implemented within 5 working days. A justified portability request is fulfilled in machine-readable form within 30 days to you or the controller you nominate. Requests may require proof of identity and will be answered within the periods required by law.
